Drawbacks of SAP Character Numbers
- 5 digit SAP Character Numbers no longer sufficient
- No SAP Character Numbers for double-byte Languages
- Proprietary standard
- Incompatible with Unicode enablement of mySAP.com
As of Web AS 6.10 all code pages are defined using Unicode Scalar Values. This change is valid for both Unicode and non-Unicode Systems
